ESTELLE AVALON WALDECK

Hi, I’m Estelle Waldeck. I am half Australian, half Dutch and 100% Americanized. I currently work part-time as a model, and part-time in fashion. I love expressing myself in front of and behind the camera. Fashion has been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my great grandmother was a costume designer and I loved her ability to artfully master how to tailor clothes to the body and how she brought to life a collection of pieces that exquisitely embody that person’s personality and character. Clothes still have that same meaning to me today, they are a way to outwardly express yourself to the world, they are the one tool we can navigate to deliver our message to the world, without saying a single word.

            I love modeling because as a fashion person, adrenaline and fast-paced environments get me going. I love the rush I get from being in front of the camera. It is almost as if I can create my own outward vision, similarly to my great grandmother's with her clothes; a vision of my own, my very own special and intimate self-expression that no one can take away from me. When I am in front of the camera, I feel my most feminine and divine self. A confidence that I believe every woman should embody into her daily life, an attitude that screams “Look at me, I know who I am, I love myself and I will never apologize for that”.

            The purpose of this website is to show my experience, in front of the camera, in modeling, and behind the camera in the fashion industry. I want to share my journey of these colliding worlds and embrace and inspire all women’s self-expression through one cohesive outlet. I hope you enjoy xx
